You can make an appointment by calling the office at 469-723-6007 or by email at [email protected]. Please be aware that email is not considered to be a confidential form of communication. Once you have requested an appointment, your psychologist will contact you to obtain information about your child, as well as basic demographic information and insurance benefits.

Yes. I am on many insurance panels including:

  • Aetna
  • Blue Cross/ Blue Shield
  • Cigna
  • Compsych (EAP not accepted)
  • Magellan HMO/PPO
  • Multiplan
  • United Health Care/United Behavioral Health
  • Tricare

Medicaid/ CHIP is not accepted. If you don’t have insurance, contact us to discuss out-of-pocket payment options.

Prior to your first appointment, your benefits will be verified and you will be notified regarding the payment due. Sometimes insurance companies quote benefits that are incorrect or that have changed. It is our goal to communicate any changes/ discrepancies as soon as they become apparent. Balances are due at the next date of service. Furthermore, please provide your psychologist with any changes to your insurance as soon as this information becomes available.

Payment can be made using cash, check, major credit cards, and Health Saving Accounts (HSA).

No. Only medical doctors and nurse practitioners prescribe medication. Referrals for medication management can be made upon request.

Please contact The Songbird Center at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled appointment in order to avoid any cancellation fees.
